US government to set up DNA bank as law enforcement tool

WASHINGTON - US authorities will soon begin collecting DNA samples from suspects arrested or detained by federal authorities, including hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants, the New York Times reported.

The new rules, which are being put in place by the US Justice Department, aim to make the practice of collecting DNA samples as routine as fingerprinting for anyone detained by federal agents.

Until now, federal authorities have taken DNA samples only from convicted felons, but the new rules would allow a vast expansion of that practice. (Read More)

I think I’m starting to understand the viewpoint behind this: figure that our nation is in the hands of a fundamentalist ‘Born Again’ President. As any good Christian knows, we are all born with original sin, and so therefore, we are all guilty; which revokes habeas corpus, or any other civil liberty that the constitution grants to innocent citizens.

So, when you are arrested for committing a terrorist hoax next year due to the FBI surveying you without a warrant because of ‘suspicious activity’ while placing Christmas lights that may or may not resemble a anthrax dispersal unit; remember to blame that fucking prick Adam for eating that apple, and making you inherently wicked. In reality, this is just another really fucked up thing happening in the ‘Eternal Crusade Against Freedom-Hating Bad Muslims/Arabs/Ragheads/Hippies’ that people don’t notice or care about… yet.
